It seems like most of the micro-dwellings coming from the foundry of Movable Roots Tiny Homes are tailor-made for the Uber rich. Carrying on the trend, the Florida-based builder has designed another brand new tiny home, or shall I say a stunning park model RV that you may find too hard on pockets to purchase. Dubbed Overlook Cottage tiny house, the $245,000 tiny house is undeniably one of the most expensive tiny houses you’ll come across on the internet. But the sheer size of the micro-dwelling makes its appeal undeniable a peach.
Measuring 49 feet long and 14 feet wide, the Overlook Cottage tiny house boasts 400 square feet of living space encompassing multiple bedrooms, a spacious living room, a built-in fireplace, a well-equipped galley-style kitchen with a built-in eating area, and a large bathroom. Not to mention, a separate BBQ kitchen and a rooftop deck, adding more elegance and functionality to the house. The rooftop deck can be accessed via the loft section and features additional living space that can be used for a variety of purposes.
On a little downside, there are just renders of the tiny home available at the moment, but Movable Roots still manages to give us a fair bit of idea about the finishing. The tiny house is clad in board and batten siding and features Pergo luxury vinyl plank flooring capped by a metal roof. The tiny house draws power from a standard RV-style hookup.
A Fiberglass door with full light and mini blinds welcomes you inside. The micro-dwelling boasts a bright, gorgeous interior adorned with white walls and numerous windows. An area where there is no dearth of light is the living room. Flooded with natural light, the living room is capacious and comes equipped with ample room housing a comfortable couch and wall space for a 55-inch TV.

Adjacent is the kitchen. Lavish and outlandish in look, the kitchen boasts American-made frameless cabinetry with shaker or flat panel door styles. It also features open-upper shelving and quartz countertops available in multiple color options.
Flooded with top-quality appliances with the likes of a microwave, dishwasher, and fridge, the kitchen is supremely functional. Did I mention the BBQ kitchen? Well, Movable Roots offers an option between a rooftop deck and a porch. In case you are happy sacrificing the rooftop deck, you can have a porch with an in-built BBQ kitchen.

As aforementioned, there are multiple bedrooms in the Overlook Cottage, one of which is located in the main floor area. The other two bedrooms find a place in the loft section. Overall, these bedrooms sleep a minimum of six people with ease.
Lastly, there is a bathroom. I expected the bathroom space to be pretty luxurious but it’s kind of subtle. Yes, there is a vanity, toilet, and an option between the shower and a tub, but is not as classic when compared with the likes of Acorn Tiny Homes.

I like the Tiny House with the upstairs deck and bbq cookery out of a lower deck by the main kitchen; Yet I know that I have to be more practical about getting older, and maybe I would do better in a one level home with two bedrooms with a deck and outside cookery.
