Optoma has won many hearts with its projectors that boast the newest technologies and specifications. The leading projector brand recently launched the UHZ68LV 4K Projector in Europe with 5000 lumens brightness and the ability to deliver a 300-inch picture. Now, it is turning to the USA, where the brand will offer HCPro-4400 – a similar kind of 4K projector. The new model also offers a similar brightness and supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and a Filmmaker Mode to ensure an immersive, theater-like entertainment at home.
The HCPro-4400 features a dual laser engine that delivers 5000 lumens of brightness, but it is not the only feature that makes it ideal for brighter light conditions. The projector can also be calibrated with ISF day and ISF night display modes, which allows the user to adjust the image quality as per the lighting conditions using 11-point RGB White Balance, CMS (Color Management System), and RGB Gain/Bias. So if you want, the projector can be specifically calibrated for daytime viewing by professional technicians.
The projector uses Dolby Vision to optimize the brightness, contrast, and color of each frame of the content, while HDR10+ enhances dynamic range and color precision. The Filmmaker Mode, which would tailor the picture quality to the movie director’s intent, is likely to be added to the projector via an over-the-air update by the third quarter of 2025. The viewing experience is further enhanced with PureEngine Ultra, which boosts color output, contrast, and image detail.
