Hungarian furniture brand NORNA introduced the Linea Easychair built with sustainable and recycled materials. The Linea Easychair is a part of the Linea collection created in collaboration with a Hungarian clothing brand Stotz Apparel. It uses fashion offcuts that celebrate the circularity in design.
The chair takes inspiration from the connection between the city and countryside which is often represented in the contemporary design as a cow pattern, providing the main textile material. The seating surface of the chair is covered with cloth cutoffs acquired from Stotz Apparel.
Made using the patchwork technique, the use of leftover materials gives the chair seat a unique design fit for contemporary spaces. The philosophy of NORNA in designing the furniture pieces with the clothing brand is to attract the next generation.
The curved tubular structure of the chair uses a recycled textile seating surface, whereas the steel frame supporting the chair is recycled from the tubular chairs. With the use of remnants, the chair flaunts its circular design appeal.
The Linea Easychair by NORNA brings you ease with its comfortable backrest and armrests. Its back is slightly bent backward which allows you to sunbathe and read a book while sitting on the chair.
