We are familiar with many coffee recipes, but an espresso holds a different place in our hearts. The quality of an espresso is decided by many variables including the ground size, brew time, and optimal temperature. Many brewers vouch to perfect these to make good coffee, but one that matches the cost and features in our favor are very few. Even if there are any, these involve manual input and demand constant watch for over-extraction of coffee.
Now, Minority Pi is giving traditional espresso pots an innovative spin with its EsspressoPot, which actually takes away the everyday hassle behind brewing that perfect Cup of Joe. The EspressoPot looks and functions like any other Moka pot but reduces the risk of inconsistent temperature control, poor pressure regulation, leakages, and grinder malfunctions.
It is built from high borosilicate glass, in the classic octagonal design, that endures high-temperature direct flame extraction while allowing you to observe the extraction of coffee throughout the brewing process from a distance.
The innovation of the EspressoPot lies in the (aluminum or stainless steel) dual-valve pressure system. One of which is installed at the bottom of the kettle’s body. This valve automatically adjusts and releases excess pressure to ensure optimal extraction of coffee without the risks of fluctuations. This guarantees that water flows through the ground coffee in a stable environment and coffee is brewed without its flavor being compromised.
Making espresso, latte, or any other specialty drink in this Moka pot is not rocket science. You add water and coffee grounds according to your preference and assemble the pot. Set the heat and control temperature without having to worry about over-extraction of the coffee. Simple as that!
