It might end up being a fifty-way tie if I were to choose a tiny house should I end up an old spinster, but I’d probably go with the Mckenzie tiny house on wheels by Oregon-based Motley Construction. It’s the perfect home for a bachelor or a couple who loves to travel without compromising on comfort. The 31-foot-long Mckenzie tiny house is a gorgeous mobile dwelling with a big bathroom, full-height closet, fully equipped kitchen, a skylight-equipped loft, and a cozy living room with a fireplace.
Motley Tiny Homes is the latest to venture into the tiny house industry and the potential of the builder is evident from the Mckenzie. The contemporary design of the house seamlessly blends both indoors and outdoors, making it a luxurious abode. Built on a triple-axle Iron Eagle trailer, the compact abode offers a total living area of 310 square feet.
With the vibe of a traditional country home, the McKenzie features a split roof. The exterior features a board and batten, modern shiplap siding, cedar corbels, an accent-painted alcove, and a black metal roof. The front glass door opens inside the cozy living room, which is equipped with a fireplace, custom mantelpiece, convertible couch, reclaimed and live-edge wood accents, and open shelving.
Past the living room, a fully functional kitchen has custom blue cabinets adding a splash of color to the otherwise neutral color palette. The kitchen has shaker-style base cabinets with open wall shelving, a sink, butcher block countertops, an electric cooktop, a range hood, an oven, a microwave, and a refrigerator. There is a small ledge near a window in the kitchen where you can enjoy the views while sipping your choice of poison.

A galley from the kitchen leads to the bathroom and a storage-integrated staircase. The bathroom comes with a backlit, de-fog mirror, a vanity sink, a toilet, and a shower. There is space for a washer-dryer unit as well. The staircase leads to the cozy bedroom with a queen-size bed and a skylight for stargazers.
Aside from the general features, the McKenzie tiny house has a Lunos heat recovery system to protect from mold build-up, a digital front lock, and smoke and CO2 detectors. Priced at $134,700 this tiny house is perfect to take to remote locations and enjoy the bounties of nature from the comforts of your home.
