New Zealand-based tiny house manufacturer, Elite Tiny Homes, has a fleet of affordable houses emphasizing craftsmanship and durability. The builder’s latest make the Maui tiny house is suitable for a small family with its feature-packed single-lofted interior. Built on a double-axle galvanized trailer, the house is 23 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 16 feet high. It features high ceilings and a gable-style roof for open space.
The house makes space for a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a master sleeping loft in its cozy set-up. The tiny house has fully insulated ceilings, flooring, and walls. The mahogany cladding and ebony ribbed color steel profile perfectly complement an outdoor shower with black fittings and a water heater.
French doors open into a living room that has space for a couch and a side desk for work. The area is well-ventilated with large, double-glazed windows. To its left one can spot broad storage stairs with a push-to-open system and custom macrocarpa handrail that leads to master sleeping loft. The loft features space for a comfortable bed, two windows, and macrocarpa feature slats.

A sliding door next to the kitchen provides access to the big bathroom. It has a tiled shower, vanity sink, LED mirror, toilet, and washing machine.
The Maui tiny house is priced at $118,000, however, the builder offers a host of customizations. For choosing an off-grid build, the manufacturer offers solar panels from GridFree, composting toilets, and water tanks to collect rainwater.
