We often skip feeding fishes in our aquarium due to our hectic work routine. Once you’re away from home it becomes quite difficult to feed fishes at times, which becomes a reason for their poor growth and ill-health. To overcome this problem, Atlanta-based MichaelS invented Matey, a smartphone-controlled fish feeder.
This fish feeder comes with an easily downloadable app to control it using a smartphone from any area with Wi-Fi. Using the app you can feed desired amount of food to fishes in an aquarium anytime from anywhere on a set schedule.
The fish feeder is made of plastic and measures about 3 x 4 x 3-inches. The compact size of the feeder is perfect to fix it on an aquarium and store enough fish food for many days. To use this fish feeder all you have to do is put fish food inside the transparent part of the feeder and fix it over an aquarium.
It can be fixed onto a fish tank of any size using a circular adjustable ring at its bottom. The feeder dispenses the feed as soon as you command it with a touch on your smartphone.
Matey has brought a convenient solution for fish owners to feed fishes at a regular interval without skipping a day.
