Virgin Holidays offers luxury sleep in urban jungle. The company has created a 35-feet tall luxury treehouse inspired by South African Safari lodge. Overlooking Thames river, the treehouse is located in London’s South Bank and features a private balcony and delicious dishes will be served by a personal chef.
Fabricated to promote traveler’s interest in vacation, the South African treehouse is primarily built from wood and is accessible through a staircase. Having two bespoke bedrooms, the treehouse comes with a six-course private menu from Masterchef contestant Petrus Madutlela. Menu includes dishes like tempura meal worm, shaved ostrich biltong, braised terrine of crocodile. According to chef Medutlela, South African recipes will make the inhabitants feel closer to the original safari-like environment.
The retreat is open for the public from 11 AM to 6 PM every day, but only lucky winners will get the chance to enjoy an overnight stay in South African Treehouse. Inspired by Virgin Holidays Wonderlist experience – The Lion Game Reserve treehouse accommodation in South Africa, this treehouse is located on London’s Southgate. It has been built to give people a chance to mix traditional pieces of South Africa with international and contemporary feel.
Moreover, it offers luxury and tranquility to people who need a deserving break from the cities’ hectic and chaotic life.
