Italy-based design house Ethimo has launched the Lustra+Folia collection conceptualized by Luca Nichetto. The collection features a floor lamp and stools created using wrought iron. It celebrates the timeless artistry of the age-old material that captures the essence of Italian craftsmanship.
The designs of these home décor items are inspired by exquisite botanical motifs that are mostly found in garden grilles and ornate gates of central Italy. The idea behind the Lustra+Folia collection is to bring the versatility and charm of wrought iron into modern living spaces.
The first creation in the collection is the Lustra floor lamp which exhibits a theatrical presence and has elegance in its form and structure. It has a height of two meters and a diameter of one meter. The cap at the top is formed of blown glass, its frames, if looked upon closely, have a wavy design, while the circular frames in the middle give structural stability to the lamp. Lustra has a unique form and almost looks like a life-size sculpture in various colors offered by Ethimo. Its base is designed to provide stability to the lamp, considering it has some weight owing to its construction material.

Folia stool serves as a stylish seat or a functional side table. It gets its name from the kind of design it has. The wrought iron stool is something you don’t come across daily. It has an interesting frame featuring a wavy circular base from which the singular frames protrude upwards, forming a leaf or petal-like form at the top. All the petals merge at the center to create a floral surface of the stool. Another creation has a simple circular top. These stools have been made in various colors and all look different in their own way.
The Lustra+Folia collection achieves a great amount of artistic elegance, enough elevate any living space with its prepossessing nature.
