Løvtag is a group of treetop cabins designed for nature lovers coming to enjoy the serene beauty of Mariager Fjord in Denmark. There are plans to build a total of nine such forest cabins on Als Odde peninsula out of which the first one is ready to take bookings.
Designed by architect Sigurd Larsen, this treehouse cabin features minimalistic Nordic design. It is built about 6-8 meters above the ground around a pine tree that is growing up through the middle of the cabin. The cabin stands on metal stilts minimizing the load on the tree.
The unique angled shape and wood cladding on the exterior is what attracts one the most, it makes the cabin appear like a wooden star perched on a tree.
Inside the cabin, there are modern features and details to instill the feeling of a house. From the sleeping area to the living room and from the kitchen and the restroom, it has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. With a queen bed and a double sofa bed, the cabin can accommodate up to four people. There is also a rooftop deck and large glass windows to connect residents with the surroundings.
