Tino Niskanen, Finland-based designer and founder of Himmee, with the aim to bring industrial design into home interiors has created a simple yet intriguing table lamp that brings epitome of simplicity to your study table. Entitled as Loop Table Lamp, the much acclaimed lighting fixture was first showcased at Milan Design Week in 2009 as a prototype. But now the concept is turned into a beautiful reality.
The elegant table lamp is inspired from the loop obstacle from the mini golf track. It supports an outer body of aluminum that’s diffused using opal acrylic. A LED strip has been attached at inner section of this ring-shaped lamp to produce a bright light. The brightness can be easily controlled through a dimmer placed at its base. Coming with textile cord and wall mounted adapter, the table lamp can also be used as a wall lamp. Hence, you’ve distinct options to enhance aesthetics of your home interior in different ways.
Exhibiting warm light of 3,000K, the lamp will be first commercially showcased at the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2016. At the furniture fair, the lamp will also be launched commercially for €419 (approx. $471). It comes in black and white finishes, while the adapter of the lamp is available in Europe, UK and US versions.
