If your product is strong enough, you need not rely on promotion: A mantra Tasmanian builder Artisan Tiny Homes seems to be following. The tiny house company is not among the much talked about manufacturers in mobile home circuits, but it has been discreetly establishing itself as a favorite. Despite building over a dozen micro-dwellings, the Artisan Tiny Homes has kept a low-profile, evident through their social media pages. Nevertheless, the company’s tiny house fleet is gorgeous and functional, and one such mobile habitat is the Little Roland tiny house on wheels.
Based on a triple-axle trailer, the tiny house measures 19.6 feet long and 7.8 feet wide, hence offering plenty of space to house accessories, appliances, and furnishing for a couple of people. The key feature of the home is its two bump-outs. These bump-outs not only enhance the look of the exterior but also offer additional storage space inside.
Speaking of exterior and interior, the former is clad in cypress with night sky Colorbond tin, while the latter features VJ lining boards. Other features that the tiny home is accoutered with include Etech glass windows, an external gas hot water system, and a water and power connection.
The tiny home was originally designed for a client. However, due to certain circumstances, the Artisan Tiny Homes owner had to keep it for her. “My aesthetics was modern rustic, with a touch of glam, so I added stored vintage pieces to radiate that rustic feel,” the owner mentions.
Inside, the tiny house features a living room that includes a large comfy lounge with storage underneath. The living room has a pendant light that offers plenty of lighting to brighten the space. There is a designated space for a wall-mounted TV as well. We can also spot a wood fire pit that keeps the owners warm during chilly nights.
Next to the living room is a full kitchen. It comes with a couple of cabinets, a sink, and floating shelves alongside a gaggle of appliances including a single-drawer dishwasher and a two-burner cooktop. The kitchen also includes a coffee nook that houses a coffee maker, mugs, and other cutlery. There is a designated space for a fridge, while an air conditioner helps maintain the optimal temperature inside. Not to mention, a breakfast bar that seats two.

The kitchen also features an open staircase that leads to the loft. Functioning as a typical low-ceiling bedroom, the loft is equipped with a queen-size mattress that sleeps two. Other features include storage and skylight.
The bathroom features a spacious shower with porcelain tiles, toilet, and chrome tapware. The Little Roland tiny house can run from a standard RV-style hookup or an optional off-grid setup that has solar panels.
