The worldwide trend to upgrade homes with fashionable and luxurious furniture has been the driving force for designers in the past decade or so. Designing cozy and plush furnishing pieces that transcend the interior space is the need of the hour. To that accord, the high-end French furniture company Ligne Roset has unveiled two limited edition versions of one of its most plush sofa collections, Togo, in a contemporary tapestry to celebrate 50 years of the design.
Originally designed by Michel Ducaroy, the new Togo editions comprise two pieces Atom and La Toile du Peintre. These beautiful items are inspired by the use of limitless formal possibilities offered by the choice of material for building modern furniture. The Atom is minimalist lovers’ dream come true in a monotone-speckled dream, while La Toile du Peintre with large graphic patterns and vibrant colors seems to cater to a diversity of users.
Atom, the first master-crafted chair of the collection, is made by Belgian fashion designer Raf Simons. With the use of bouclé fabric inspired by fragments of landscapes, the Atom has no visible repetition in its design. The color scheme using birch, labradorite, and confetti, strikes a balance with the bold and contrasting surface.
Cushioned and rippled with complimenting texture, the Atom carries speckled uniformity throughout its design. Only 878 pieces are available in the Atom fabric limited edition, worldwide.

The second piece of this limited edition is La Toile du Peintre by designer Pierre Frey. A representation of artistic expression, La Toile du Peintre is a modern enhancement with a huge inviting graphic pattern painted by Heather Chontos. Adorned with contemporary tapestry and vibrant colors, it is sure to energize any interior. Available as a single and three-seater arrangement, this art piece is exceptional.
La Toile du Peintre will be made available in Ligne Roset showrooms until the end of December 2023. With its distinctive curved lines and soft, cushioned surface, the new take on the Togo collection is both chic and warmly pleasant.
