LG has launched an all-in-one washer/dryer combo which is the latest addition to its laundry product line. The 5.0 cu. ft. Mega Capacity Smart WashCombo guarantees great energy savings with LG’s patented HeatPump technology. It also promises powerful and efficient performance with quiet operation. This washer/dryer combo will be showcased at CES 2024 in Las Vegas.
There are built-in sensors in this machine that with the help of AI detect things such as soil level, fabric texture, and load size. Thereafter, the right wash or dry motions are selected with the right temperature for advanced fabric care.
LG WashCombo offers advanced washing with the company’s best cleaning system technology. TurboWash 360° helps in cleaning large loads in less time. There are five jets with variable sprays that support cleaning under 30 minutes. A complete wash and dry cycle is completed in under two hours while saving the user from the task of transferring the clothes. A discreet compact washer is beneath the main machine paving the way for easy loading and unloading.
The company claims that it is the largest capacity combo model that can even fit a king-size comforter. Also, it is space-saving. It features a ventless design allowing users to install it anywhere due to its sleek and flat front design. The body of LG WashCombo is made using steel featuring a black exterior with a tempered glass door that gives it a premium look. The machine features an intuitive LCD dial that describes each setting. This simply means that you can customize the wash or even let AI do the job for you.
LG WashCombo further ensures easy lint removal as the ezLintFilter is located on the top of the machine. So, a user can remove lint after every load without manual effort. All you have to do is push the filter and lint automatically gets disposed into a wastebasket.

The machine also features an ezDispense Automatic Dispenser that requires only one-time filling and lasts up to 31 wash cycles. When it is time to refill, the user gets an alert on the smartphone through the ThinQ app. The app can be used to control the washer/dryer combo remotely. Alternatively, Alexa and Google Assistant can also be used to control the machine. ThinQ Care sends alerts related to maintenance, usage, and diagnostics so that the machine can run smoothly all the time.
