LG has made a name with its CineBeam ultra short throw (UST) 4K projector, which is now being strengthened with the introduction of the CineBeam S (PU615U). Dubbed the company’s smallest 4K UST projector, this brand-new model is designed to maximize space efficiency and blend in any home setting.
The projector looks like a small box, measuring 110 x 160 x 160mm and weighing 5.5 lbs. Featuring a minimalistic metallic finish, it will be like a premium appliance in the home.
Despite the compact size, the projector delivers 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160) resolution with 500 ANSI lumens of brightness and 450,000:1 contrast ratio for vivid, lifelike visuals. It reaches 154 percent of the DCI-P3 color space and supports HDR 10 and HLG formats.
With a throw ratio of 0.25, it can project a 100-inch image from just 40 cm (approx. 15.7 inches) away from the wall. The projector also takes care of audio with a built-in stereo sound system and Dolby Atmos support. There are HDMI and USB Type-C ports onboard to connect the projector to other devices.
