A while back I came across Writers Retreat tiny house by Tennessee-based Handcrafted Movement and instantly fell in love with the manufacturer’s attention to detail and skill in creating customized mobile dwellings. The tiny house builder has a knack for building stunning compact abodes with personalized and themed interiors. Another gem I bring you today is inspired by the beautiful beach town of Laguna Beach, California.
The Laguna tiny house on wheels pays homage to the white surf beaches of the western coast. The exterior of this exquisite dwelling is clad in whiteboard and batten siding with a touch of color around the craftsman-style entry door. Built on a 30’ x 8.5’ triple axle Iron Eagle trailer, the tiny house features white finished with seafoam green accents.
The Laguna’s interior includes a downstairs flex room and two quaint sleeping lofts, a minimal kitchen, and a spacious bathroom with an ocean color palette. Dotted with a myriad of windows, the interior feels spacious and comfortable. The walls and ceiling are painted white to maximize the light and make it feel spacious whereas the wide plank distressed oak hardwood flooring adds a beautiful contrast to the walls.

The front door opens into a spacious living room with enough space to place a sofa bed. On the left side is a downstairs flex space concealed behind a sliding door. It can be used as a main floor bedroom with a queen-size bed or home office.
Outside the flex room stands a soft green accent cabinet with a built-in entertainment center and exposed ceiling beams. Overhead is the secondary loft bedroom, which you can use for sleeping or storage and is accessible via a ladder.
The kitchen of the Laguna tiny house is opposite the front door. It features laminate countertops, a white apron sink, a stainless steel LP gas range with a ventilation hood, and a stainless steel refrigerator. Across the cooking space is a wood dining table with a chevron pattern to seat two.

Right next to the table is a staircase leading to the large loft where you can place a king-size bed. It features a curved edge and copper rail. Below the loft bedroom is the bathroom. It comes equipped with a shower, a gorgeous vanity sink with a giant mirror, a flush toilet, and built-in storage space. You can get a customized washer/dryer hookup.
Needless to say, the stunning Laguna tiny house on wheels is perfect for adventures on the road. The best part is that you can head for weekend getaways with your friends and family without having to worry about accommodation.
