The tiny house industry is an industry of fluctuating trends and designs as is any other field. If you don’t evolve with the trend, you either have to shut down your tiny house shop or change directions. But there are a few builders that embrace the change and keep going strong such as Texas-based Decathlon Tiny Homes. After the successful delivery of the Sancho Lodge tiny house, the company has now unveiled the La Casita tiny house on wheels.
Measuring 24 feet long and 8.6 feet wide, the mobile home comes poised on a double-axle trailer. It has an inviting blend of functionality and style, perfect for those looking to embrace a minimalist lifestyle without sacrificing comfort. The dwelling has a durable construction with an F-WAVE roofing and smart siding exterior that provides a clean, modern look. The 2.8-foot-wide outswing door provides easy access inside.
Inside, the La Casita tiny house has luxury vinyl flooring and a white-painted interior. An open-floor bedroom comfortably sleeps two. The space has been left unfurnished to allow residents to furnish it however they desire. Adjacent to the bedroom is the living room of the house which is also devoid of any furniture. The open layout creates a snug space where the boundaries between the living room and bedroom blur.
Nearby is the compact kitchen. It offers all the essentials including butcher block countertops, a two-burner cooktop, a microwave, a refrigerator, a range hood, and a sink. The compact kitchen is designed to maximize functionality while maintaining a stylish appearance.

Past the kitchen, the bathroom is designed for both comfort and efficiency. It includes a glass-enclosed shower and a standard flush toilet. The bathroom also features a washer/dryer and a vanity sink, along with a 30-gallon water heater to ensure you have plenty of hot water for your daily needs.
The compact size doesn’t imply that the tiny home is short on storage. The La Casita tiny house includes a storage loft accessible via a ladder, perfect for stowing away seasonal items. However, this can double as a secondary bedroom too. Powered via a standard RV-style hookup, the La Casita tiny home sleeps two to three people in its well-designed compact layout.
