Red Knives is a brand new range of high-end kitchen knives that will make your jaws drop. These knives look like a stiletto and are certainly not child’s play. Koi Knives have been working on this project for two years now and has finally brought these gorgeous knives to Kickstarter for crowd-funding.
Koi Knives have spent the time honing in on every curve and couture of every knife from this collection. Each category of knife is inspired from Australian animals and is as wild as those Aussie predators. It took loads of time, passion and hard work for the creator of the knife to finally reach a point where they are ready for launch.
Much like Australia, these blades are made to live through hard, rough conditions. The knives are made with an AUS10 steel core providing a long-living ultra-hard edge. The core steel has stainless steel cladding to protect the inner core and prevent corrosion.
Koi Knives is the brain child of two school lads who were obsessed with kitchen knives and cooking. The two creaters of the Koi Knives are Ray, an ex-contestant on Masterchef Australia who loves cooking food, while Shannon is son of a blacksmith and has spent many years working with steel.
The handles of the knives are made from Australian Wood. The resin-infused wood for homes and micarta wood commercial kitchens was brought to use to make the handles.
