For those of you who don’t know, Rewild Homes is a Vancouver-based tiny house construction company. It makes completely off-grid cabins and other micro dwellings with all the amenities of a full-size house. Kestrel tiny house on wheels is one of the mobile habitats designed by Rewild Homes that caught my eye today, and I decided to bring it to your attention too.
The 24 feet long tiny house is built on a double-axle trailer and boasts a wooden exterior complimented by awning-style windows with black frames. These windows provide a high insulation value and lots of natural light. Other than the windows, the tiny house is also accoutered with a skylight that helps keep the interior fresh, airy, and bright. The windows are spread throughout the home, so much so, that you can bathe in the fully tiled bathtub and still have a picturesque view of the outdoors.
Coming back to the interior, the tiny house floor plan comprises a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a loft bedroom. Loaded with custom storage and beautiful finishing details, the Kestrel tiny house makes simple life possible without sacrificing comfort or style. Having said that let’s have a look at the key features of the house.
The tiny house is accoutered with a window bench seat with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves that add aesthetic to the home. This area can be utilized as a living room of the house. A storage loft is placed above the bench seat that can be used for housing important items and other essentials. Adjacent is the kitchen of the tiny house. Featuring handmade solid birch cabinets and countertops, the tiny house is highly functional and quite storage-friendly. Other features include a granite sink, a propane stove, a washer/dryer unit that is squeezed under the stairs, an electric fridge, and a range hood.

As aforementioned, the tiny house features a bathtub. Accessed via a pocket door, the bathtub is not just the biggest highlight of the bathroom but of the whole house. The bathtub is encompassed by a tiled wet area and two large windows. The windows offer a great view outdoors but sans privacy, so you might have to install some blinds. The tiny house bathroom also includes a custom vanity unit and sink with a granite countertop, and a composting toilet, and a shower. For more details, visit the official of Rewild Homes.
