While 4K resolution has become a standard for high picture quality in projectors, most major brands entering the market are not able to offer affordable options. Chinese brand JMGO wants to change it with the launch of its N1S 4K projector that is currently available at a discounted price of $999. The company has reduced the overall brightness compared to other projectors from the N1 series to make it a budget-friendly option.
Powered by MALC triple color laser optics and a 0.47 DMD chip, the projector is claimed to deliver 4K UHD resolution with 1,100 ISO lumens brightness. It supports 110 percent of the BT.2020 color gamut, offers a 1600:1 contrast ratio, and supports HDR10 content. Furthermore, it achieves Delta E <1 accuracy and reduces laser speckles by 97 percent.
Automatic image correction without any manual tweaks is a great feature for regular users. With FlexiSmart Adaptive System 2.0, the projector handles focus, keystone correction, screen alignment, and zoom on its own.
The projector has a gimbal design with a 127-degree adjustment. It allows you to tilt it up or down to match different viewing setups like it can project directly on the ceiling. With a throw ratio of 1.2:1, you can put it on your living room table and still enjoy the 4K picture quality from your couch, while being able to adjust the image size between 60 inches to 200 inches.
The built-in Google TV with native Netflix support ensures you have unlimited entertainment options. For gamers, it offers 1080p at 60Hz, with MEMC tech that cuts motion delay to 16ms. Audio is delivered through dual 5W speakers and a 55Hz subwoofer, with support for Dolby Audio, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS-HD. For connectivity, it includes an HDMI eARC port and a USB-A 2.0 port for external devices.

The JMGO N1S 4K projector measures 7.3 inches long, 7.5 inches high, and 6.5 inches wide, weighing just 4.4 lbs (around 2kg). Designed for portability, it features a built-in handle and comes in a protective foam case that allows you to carry it outdoors.
