Jenn-Air is all set to launch its new dual convention wall oven that communicates with your smartphone. The oven is maker’s first wireless and mobile app configured smart appliance, offering consumers a unique cooking experience. The app will be available for download on Android and iOS platforms, allowing users to control the smart appliance via both smartphone as well as tablet.
Jenn-Air is presenting a range of fully loaded wall ovens with unique features like Culinary Center, an interactive function which carefully assesses the cooking time and exact temperature based on inputs and preferences in addition to offering guidance for more than 30 food options, all based on food category.
The smart oven comes with Jenn-Air V2TM dual-fan convention system, which transfers heat from multiple sources within the oven to ensure even results while serving double duty of microwave and oven. It features a 7-inch interactive colored control panel, with slider feature hidden under the glass, letting the cook to manage temperature with a slight swipe of finger, rather than pressing buttons.
The No Preheat mode allows cook to bake on one rack, without any preheating option, saving the cooking time. It also includes a 4,000 watt reflective broil element that lets you grill. The other notable features include storing favorite recipes in the My Creation app, soft-close doors, front mounted oven light and larger window for better and improved visibility.
The connected oven is expected to hit the market in September, with no words on pricing yet.
