Versâtis is a new multifunctional work surface developed by EuroKera (a joint venture between Saint-Gobain and Corning). Exploring the visual, technical and functional possibilities of this innovative (glass-ceramic) material, and a countertop; the French artist and designer Jean-Marc Gady has designed a multifunctional table also serves as a desk, worktop or dining table. It also includes many other modern features for maximum flexibility and connectivity.
Entitled as The Smart Platform, this multifunctional table is designed with the motive to create a link between the kitchen and living room. The table is equipped with four induction cooking zones, one food heating zone and two wireless mobile charging zones with auto-detection.
Both the cooking zones can be controlled via a mobile app using a smartphone or tablet. Furthermore, each table is accompanied by two additional devices – a 360-degree camera and connected interactive projector that allow new uses of the tabletop.

The glass-ceramic serigraphy on the tabletop allows easy identification of zones while offering a contemporary decor that blends in with refined interior styles. Integrating all these features in the top would have certainly been challenging for the designers but the final result is really awesome. It can function as a modern desk, worktop, and a dining table.
The EuroKera Versâtis Smart Platform combines multi-functionality with aesthetics while also showcasing the possibilities of a countertop and the refinement and conviviality of a dining table.
