Copenhagen-based MENU Space is a famed design studio that has harnessed the skills of top designers and craftspeople to create clean and clever contemporary designs. With expertise in Scandinavian style since 1978, the studio has now launched Jäger Lounge Table which emulates the archival design from 1941 by the renowned Danish designer Mogens Lassen.
Its foldable form factor is perhaps the biggest USP of the furniture. The table can fold to be carried like a briefcase, when not in use. Drawing inspiration from folding stools and beds found in Tutankhamun’s Egyptian tomb, the table boasts a solid and sturdy body.
Measuring 51 inches in length, 25 inches in width, and 18 inches in height, the table features a solid wood frame and a warp-free veneer tabletop. Poised on oiled oak legs that crisscross each other, the table is worthy of a modern home. The brass plaque engraved on the bottom end of the legs adds glamor to the furniture.
Its foldable design also allows the user to tuck it away to save some floor space. Jäger lounge table is not just a space-saving alternative to those bulky furnishing but also an aesthetic piece that blends well with the home interior.
