Tiny house design and detailing come into being out of all the possible reasons that are dear to the inhabitants. For instance, take a look at this stunningly crafted tiny house, riding high on its nautical theme. Joel and Tess brought their love for the ocean into every possible inch of this tiny house somewhere in the beautiful environs of South Australia.
Fondly dubbed ‘The Inside-Out Tiny House’ the house is DIYed mostly out of natural and left-over materials around. On the outside, with a beautiful wooden railing, the large deck extends well into the inside of the house. The exterior wall is decorated with a home-sized mural of a giant wave.
Large reclaimed windows flood the house with ample bright light. The tiny house sits on a double-axle trailer and measures 21X8ft. Running well on the solar panels and the battery backup helps this tiny habitat to stay fully functional off-grid as well. You make your entry through the reclaimed doors well into the heart of the house, the living room.
Stunning woodwork throughout the house ensures warmth and exudes an inviting vibe. The boxiness of the space is broken by the curved ceiling line and bay windows. A folding wall in here allows a lot of room and space when needed.
Opposite to this is the kitchen that features modern appliances, and a large countertop shelf that also serves as a dining nook. Ample storage in the form of shelves and cupboards perfectly hides all the kitchen necessities. A cozy bathroom with a hanging closet nearby makes for a snuggled corner at the rear of the house.

Inside-Out Tiny House has a back door entry making way for easy indoor-outdoor access. A loft space that sits right above the kitchen and bathroom serves as a cozy bedroom for the couple. It features an organic round window and a multifunctional desk too. An outdoor bathroom with a shower and toilet serves the purpose well for the duo.
The outdoor space created for a fire bath (bathtub) to keep them warm and clean is heartwarming. Inside-out Tiny House was crafted well within a budget of AUD$ 25,000 (approximately $16,500). The dynamic couple also rents the house for BnB services.
