The tiny house industry is continuously evolving, not only in terms of size and pricing but also in design. We have seen triple-loft tiny houses, reverse loft tiny houses, open-floor tiny houses, and so on, but none compare to the idiosyncratic layout of the Inglewood tiny house on wheels. Inglewood, designed by Virginia-based custom home builder, Tiny House Building Company, is a 36-foot-long gooseneck tiny house, which has a unique and never-seen-before (by us) layout that packs an elevated living room, with storage for modular and movable furniture underneath, slide-out staircase, movable kitchen island, and a split loft housing bedroom, office, and wardrobes.
A simple, pale blue exterior stands in perfect contrast with the bright, dazzling interior. The tiny house on wheels comes with two entrances, both flanking the fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen features custom cabinets, a movable island, butcher-block countertops, a sink, a propane stove, an oven, and a refrigerator.
Next is the elevated living room, which is perfect for entertaining. Under a skylight, the elevated lounge is accessible via slide-out stairs that neatly tuck underneath the raised space. Fitting the stairs like a piece of puzzle are built-in cubbies. There is plenty of room below the living room to house the moveable dining table and the kitchen island to free up more floor space.
The bathroom of the Inglewood tiny house is on the other side of the kitchen. It has two sections to separate the toilet from the rest of the space. Featuring a shower, vanity sink, composting toilet, and washer/dryer hookup, the bathroom makes great use of every weird nook and cranny, including tucking the washing machine under the gooseneck stairs.

Outside, a short flight of stairs leads to the gooseneck section. The gooseneck is more spacious than any we’ve seen. It features an 8-foot office space with a built-in desk and closet under a skylight. There is a raised loft bedroom that sleeps two in a queen-size bed and has wall-mounted shelves.
The Inglewood tiny house also comes with a 46-gallon freshwater holding tank, and an air conditioner wired for both on and off-grid living. Given its uniquely clever design and attractive features the tiny house, price tag of $111,450 is certainly worth it.
