Halloween decorations can blow up your budget if you do not tread cautiously. Not many people want to get their hands dirty and prefer buying decoration items instead of making them, which is a less engaging family activity and costly affair. Those who understand this, value trash and the power of recycling. They choose to craft their holiday decorations such as this DIY toilet paper roll glow eyes, which takes less than 15 minutes to make, engages kids, and costs a fraction of something off the shelf.
It’s never too early or late to start on your DIY Halloween decoration ideas and this is an easy one. So prepare your creative thumb for battle because we are all set for Halloween with our recycled decorations. The best news is that it will cost you less than a dollar and require only five easily available items.

How to Make Toilet Paper Spooky Lit Eyes for Halloween
Start by sketching two eyes (the kind you carve on a pumpkin) on the toilet paper roll using a pencil.
Then carve out the eyes carefully with a cutter. Be cautious, do not knick yourself.
Now, paint the roll black inside out, or you can glue black paper inside and carve out eyes in the same places as the toilet paper roll. I have gone with the second option.
Once the eyes are carved and the roll is painted black on the outside, insert string lights inside it (leave the switches outside) and seal the sides using round discs made of black paper or cardboard painted black.
Now you can place them in dark corners of your house and have them stare at people. Make as many as you want and display them anywhere to spook passersby with glowing eyes.
