Tiny homes have gained unparalleled popularity over the past couple of years. In the fast-paced world, more and more people are craving for the silent retreats in arms of nature. Specialized in designing and building custom-made public installations, Budapest-based design studio Hello Wood has launched a new tiny house, named Kabinka.
Designed and manufactured in Hungary, Kabinka is an affordable cabin, offering simplicity and comfort. It is available in four sizes, between 12 and 20 square meters. With interior dimensions of 2.2m x 5m x 4m, the tiny house has a small footprint and low energy consumption, which comes as a result of Hello Wood‘s concern for the environment.
The design varies from cabins with a glazed facade or with windows, offering outside views while maintaining privacy. Extra features, such as a loft, additional windows, partitions, kitchen furniture, or basic electric installations, can be customized to user requirements.
Combining industrial technology with traditional wooden warmth, the tiny home can be equipped with a bathroom, a kitchenette, desk, and a couch to provide a comfortable retreat. There is a sleeping loft with a 1.4 meters headspace. The interior is outfitted with heating and cooling systems, making it suitable to function as home throughout the year.

While considering its impact on the environment, the small unit is a greener dwelling, certainly making it a better option than the houses built with traditional non-renewable materials.
Kabinka is fully customized in terms of internal and external appearance. Its modular design makes it entirely flexible and linkable to other construction units. This tiny home is ideal for those who are looking for a weekend retreat or a private workspace in the backyard.
