“We want our homes to be in the midst of our world, so that’s where Halcyon came, which we put out as a rendering and sold eight of them,” Heather Fritz, Co-founder of Fritz Tiny Homes told Homecrux during an exclusive chat. After Halcyon 01 gained immense popularity among tiny house lovers, it was time for Fritz Tiny Homes to up the ante. The Alberta-based company didn’t disappoint either and introduced the Halcyon 02 tiny house that offers more space than the initial version.
“From Halcyon 01, we went to Halcyon 02, as we felt there was a need for a flex room whether it be a music studio or a home office,” Heather tells us. Built on a triple-axle trailer and finished in metal siding, the tiny house packs a stand-up loft, a main floor bedroom, a living room, and a full bathroom with a shower/bathtub combo. While Halcyon 01 was ideal for couples, the 2.0 version is built for families.
Measuring 37 feet long, the Halcyon 02 tiny house mirrors the beauty and functionality of the Halcyon 01, while the added flex room offers more space for you to relax and pursue your hobby, whether it be blogging or thrumming. Interestingly, there is a bed placed in the flex room so it can even be used as a second bedroom.
The tiny house is outfitted with eight fiberglass windows and a full glass door that keeps the micro-dwelling open, bright, and comfortable. Inside, there is a spacious living room that comes equipped with a couch. Underneath the couch is a pull-out trundle bed offering an additional sleeping area. Not to mention a beautiful coffee table that adds aesthetic to the whole space and an electric fireplace to keep you warm when the weather gets a little frosty outside.

We surely cannot miss out on the luxurious bathroom with a custom concrete sink. It also includes an option for placing a tub or shower, alongside a toilet.
You can also incorporate a washer-dryer combo here. The Halcyon 02 tiny house would cost around $171,000, though you might have to spend a little more on fully off-grid packages.
