Update (11/12/2019): The one-of-a-kind Guitar Hotel at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has been officially opened on 25th, October, 2019. The premiere event was followed by a light show and a Guitar Smash along with a series of orchestrated outdoor music.
The hotel will have a Hard Rock Live performance venue for 7,000 persons, a casino with 195,000 square feet of gaming space, a 13.5-acre pool and lagoon experience with overwater cabanas, a 42,000 square feet spa and fitness center, DAER nightclub and dayclub complex, different dining, lounge and entertainment options, retail stores and more than 150,000 square feet of meeting space.
The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida is an ultimate destination for people seeking fun and entertainment in an extraordinary style. Recently, its management unveiled about US$1.5 billion project for expansion of the original building, which also includes construction of a guitar-shaped hotel, 7-story Oasis Tower, a new spa, and 13.5 acres of recreational waterscape.
Designed to look like a huge guitar with brightly lit strings, the iconic tower stands 450-foot tall and has 638 luxury guest rooms and suites. Outfitted with floor-to-ceiling glass panes, it looks none like any other tower in the world. There are plans to create a new 40,000-square-feet retail and restaurant space as well as spend about US$125 million to redesign and recreate the Hard Rock live venue with increased 6,500 seats in a theater-style configuration. In addition, there will be a 120,000-square-foot of meeting space, including a 38,000-square-foot carpeted exhibition hall.
James F. Allen, CEO of Seminole Gaming and Chairman of Hard Rock International has envisioned the project, while he has also teamed up with Las Vegas-based Klai Juba Wald Architects and some other world-renowned firms to realize his vision. A total of 806 guestrooms and suites would be added, with 638 in the iconic guitar hotel tower and remaining 168 in a seven-story Pool Tower.

There will also be a 10-acre pool complex built at the base of the guitar tower featuring “Bora Bora Experience,” with private villas surrounded entirely by water and private plunge pools. Another interesting feature in the guitar-shaped hotel is Oculus, a unique water fountain display with lights and sounds.
From dining to gaming to meetings and enjoying in water features, the new hotel includes all the amenities required for a luxurious stay. The Guitar Hotel is currently under construction and is slated to be completed by mid-2019.
