Due to changes in the material availability and increase in material weight, Australian tiny house manufacturer Hauslein Tiny House Co is replacing its Grand Sojourner tiny house with new GrandHaus tiny house, which is better, bigger, and lighter than its predecessor. Offering with 387 square feet of living space with bigger bedrooms in its cozy interior, whereas the Grand Sojourner only offered 344 square feet of living space divided in three bedrooms.
Like Grand Sojourner, the GrandHaus tiny house is a true exemplary of its name: it is grand and gorgeous inside-out with new elements. The stunning basalt color architectural steel and heat-treated lunawood feature cladding give a subtle flare to its exterior. Not a single screw is in sight and a bright color makes the tiny house look bold and beautiful. With big windows and a glass door, it welcomes in plenty of natural light.
From floor to ceiling, the interior has been done in oak instead of cypress. Although beautiful, cypress tends to develop cracks due to climate change, hence the alternation. Another change is the birch ply lining board with shadow lines instead of the traditional pine tongue and groove that the builder used in designs.
After eliminating the ground-floor bedroom from the original layout, the new version is extremely spacious and flaunts a design with a traditional vibe and modern comfort. It is a great space to comfortably accommodate a family of four where they can enjoy comforts and amenities of a regular house. The tiny house features a full-kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, and two loft bedrooms with privacy walls and storage.
Enter into the big and bright living room and feel an immense joy of being in a warm and comfy space. It has a small couch and a side table flanked by big windows and an entrance door filtering in the light.
Further along is the kitchen, which is spacious and has a laminated oak countertop with ample prep space, a farmhouse sink, quality drawers, and cabinets and shelves to keep things organized. To maximize the space for a culinary expert, there is a large pantry on the other side for storing various spices and food items. It also includes a cooktop, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a chimney. A breakfast bar is designed by the window to enjoy your meal and the view simultaneously.
The bathroom is next to the kitchen. It has a sink, a shower, a toilet, and a designated space for a washer-dryer combo. It is a large bathroom for a larger crowd.
