Govee has just spiced up the smart home game with new launches at CES 2025 that will keep nerdy homeowners interested. The smart ambient lighting expert wants early adopters to experience the AI-powered ecosystem of lighting accessories at the mecca of consumer technology, and then take them home when they are made available for purchase in Q2 2025.
Ideal for a gaming room or a dreamy bedroom, the newly revealed Gaming Pixel Light and Table Lamp Pro 2 are designed to add a touch of pixel art and display light dancing to music, respectively. Govee’s Gaming Pixel Light features a customizable pixel art display that empowers users to showcase a wide array of pixelated content.
Depending on your mood or requirement, it can display art, live information, and even stream games. The Pixel Light display can be mounted on the wall or used as a tabletop accessory; however you choose to use it, it will be a neat addition to your office or game room. To be an ideal fit in your gaming setup, this accessory can, using Govee’s HDMI sync box, stream your game on a pixel grid, while its built-in speaker plays 8-bit soundtracks alongside.
You can use the Govee Gaming Pixel Light to show real-time weather updates, display time, Bitcoin prices, and NBA schedules, to name a few. Or if you want, you can also use it as a pixel photo frame to upload your own images and GIFs. The company says users can choose from 150-odd different data sources that they would want to show at a given time or occasion.
Nothing at the CES 2025 can beat without an AI heart; no wonder then the Govee Gaming Pixel Light also comes with an AI quotient. The accompanying Govee app allows the user to generate new pixel art from text prompts while allowing Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to take charge of the voice commands.

Alongside the Pixel Light, Govee has also announced the release of Table Lamp 2 Pro. It is an LED table lamp featuring a JBL speaker. The lamp has 210 independently controlled LEDs that deliver 600 lumens of brightness and can sync with the music you blast out of the lamp’s 2.5-inch speaker. For moments when you are not playing music, the Table Lamp 2 Pro’s light can be customized according to the mood from about 100 preset options.
Govee has not given out anything about the pricing and availability, but it informs that the Gaming Pixel Light and the Table Lamp 2 Pro will start shipping in the second quarter of 2025. We are holding on to the pixel art to show, how are you placed?
