Korea-based product designer Hannah Choi of plusD design studio has come-up with Firo, an easy-to-handle fire extinguisher for renowned Korean industrial manufacturer company Doore Saem. This portable fire extinguisher can be hung on a wall, so that in the case of fire breakout, it can be used in an instant reaction. Simply hang it on some wall of your kitchen or any other room, just like other appliances, and if unfortunately there is a fire breakout, its unique visual appearance makes it easily recognizable.
For making Firo noticeable, its body has been colored in unobtrusive white; and vibrant red, blue or yellow rubber grip blends it with any other decorations. Using a simple drill machine and included mount, the hanging fire extinguishing spray can be installed easily without any professional help. Its operation is also very easy, just grab it in your hand and press the handle to release the fire extinguishing materials.
This small fire extinguisher can spray within a range of 3-4 meters for up to 23 seconds flat. The refill measures 450 grams, and its overall weight goes to 650 grams, which makes it a sleek safety accessory for homes.
