Daniela Carneiro and Eduardo Ribeiro, a Portuguese couple who were traveling in a camper van for years have started Truck Surf Hotel to share their lifestyle with travelers looking to explore new cities and exciting surfing destinations onboard a fully-equipped hotel on wheels.
Truck Surf Hotel is a converted Mercedes Actros truck with a hydraulic system that makes it possible to expand its walls for creating additional space inside. On the first floor, there’s a living room with couches, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom complete with toilet and shower, and a lounge terrace to chill out in the open air.
Upstairs are the five expanding rooms– four shared double rooms with bunk bed, and one private double room with a couple bed. Each room is equipped with air conditioning and a locker to keep the valuables. Inside, wood style walls and flooring along with a number of windows create a cozy atmosphere.

It is a one-of-a-kind hotel on wheels with an amazing pop-up upper floor. The concept of renting a double-decker motorhome is really a good, as any traveler would love to experience mobile life for once. However, as there are only five travel seats in the hotel, guests may have to travel in a separate minibus.
Starting from June 2018, they are offering a shared double room for about €758 (US$908) per person or a private double room for about €1,592 (US$1907) per two persons, along with breakfast buffet, daily surf lessons, and other luring facilities.
