Robot vacuum cleaners have become pretty efficient in mopping and scrubbing your floors. Adding another gem to the ever-evolving fleet of robovacs on the market, Eureka has created the J15 Max Ultra robot vacuum and mop – debuted at CES 2025 – to detect and clean liquid spills efficiently.
The new J15 Max Ultra is designed to correctly detect liquid spills with infrared and automatically turn its body to tackle the sloppy wet mess with its mopping pads. The new Eureka robot vacuum features a transparent liquid stain detection technology to help identify the mess, even from a clear liquid. It will find the stain spots and rotate to focus on mopping it as it lifts the roller brush to stop the liquid from entering the dust bin.
The automated cleaner uses IntelliView AI 2.0 technology that adds an infrared vision system and an FHD vision sensor to the robot’s LiDar navigation system. This helps with AI-powered obstacle detection and avoidance allowing the robotic vacuum cleaner to create two views in real-time. It can then process the area in different ways and spot reflections and textures.
The device is equipped with a suction power of up to 22,000 Pa, increased battery capacity, and a threshold crossing height of up to 40 mm to make the cleaning process effortless. The J15 Max Ultra even includes an extendable side brush to reach corners.

Moreover, Eureka’s FlexiRazor tech utilizes razors inside the robot’s brush system to cut tangles of hair or carpet fibers. The dual spinning mop pads extend into corners and edges to clean out dirt and debris. It even lights up upon detection of a carpet.
What’s better is that J15 Max Ultra includes an 8-in-1 functional base station. The base station automatically refills clean water, drains dirty water, collects dust, washes and dries the mop pads, cleans the tray, and charges automatically to make the entire process autonomous. Meaning you don’t have to do a thing. Just sit back and let it clean your space.
Given its inclusive features, the J15 Max Ultra takes away all possible manual cleaning interventions to leave you with a spotless space you can eat off of. Slated for a global release in June 2025, the Eureka J15 Max Ultra robot vacuum is priced at $1,299.
