It’s very rare that we get to see collaborations in the tiny house industry, but when we do, they are real head-turners. In one such scenario, Toronto-based Acorn Tiny Homes has collaborated with Versant (design firm) to create a whimsical tiny house on foundation. Dubbed the English Country House, the tiny house’s exterior is clad in all metal and features large windows to let in natural light. Blending comfort and function for outdoor adventurers, English Country House is a cozy dwelling for weekend trips.
While we are not familiar with the dimension and other details at the time of writing, the teaser images of the interior that Versant has uploaded on social media definitely evoke the English country house vibe. As the desire for downsized living is growing and more people are drifting toward tiny houses, it’s an opportunity for manufacturers like Versant and Acorn Tiny Homes to showcase how skilled they are at the craft.
Despite being a newcomer on the tiny house scene, claiming expertise in making eco-friendly tiny homes, Versant has surprised us with the luxurious interior space of the English Country House. It features a living area (with a side table and chair), a small kitchenette (with a countertop and a fridge), and a dining table that can seat up to four people. There is no sign of a bedroom or bathroom in the pictures, but we’re sure it isn’t devoid of them.
English Country House is also Acorn Tiny Homes’ first attempt at a stationary tiny house and its not short on brilliance in comparison with the company’s mobile homes. Passionate about building dream tiny houses for their clients, Acorn and Versant have outfitted the interior of this mini English county house with ample storage shelves and cabinets.

The wooden construction adds a rustic essence to the interior, while the furniture (sofa, bench, and chairs) and lighting dotted across the house exhibit a minimalistic vibe. More details are awaited on the project. We will update here as soon we hear from Acorn Tiny Homes.
