British Columbia-based builder Rover Tiny Homes is a creative collective, with beautiful park models and mobile homes to its name, including the Hemlock and Hornby. While Hemlock and Hornby give off modern energy, the builder’s Elkhorn tiny house offers a cottage-corn charm inside and out. It may seem like the typical cabin in the woods, but the slightly bigger Elkhorn is an immaculate dwelling that can sleep four to six people in its 480 sq. ft.

Like other models by the manufacturer, the Elkhorn tiny house also features tongue and groove pine ceilings and trim made from reclaimed barn wood. The exterior comprises wood shingles and board and batten. Inside, the Elkhorn tiny house, you’ll find cottage-style carpentry. The micro-dwelling packs one master bedroom with a custom closet, a loft bedroom, a big bathroom, a generous kitchen, and a huge living room.

The living room has French doors and huge floor-to-ceiling glass windows, pouring in natural light and fresh air. There is enough space to fit in another bedroom adjacent to the living room. It fits a big couch, a coffee table, and a couple of chairs, and can house a customized entertainment center and a fireplace.

Next to the living room, a U-shaped kitchen allows you to whip up gourmet meals for the entire family. Equipped with all the contemporary appliances, the kitchen has Quartz countertops, a four-burner cooktop, an oven, a range hood, a microwave, a refrigerator, a sink, and plenty of overhead and under-counter cabinets. One section of the countertop acts as a breakfast bar that can seat four people.

A hallway down the kitchen leads to the master bedroom, the loft, and the bathroom. A standard fixed ladder leads to the loft above the bathroom and can sleep two people with ease. The bathroom below is outfitted with a big bathtub/shower combination, toilet, vanity sink, and laundry section.

The master bedroom is located at the rear end of the house. It features a king-size bed, a work desk, a couple of nightstands, and a big closet. The Elkhorn tiny house is priced at CAD 200,000 ($150,000) and can be outfitted with numerous customization options.

  1. Kimmy,
I’m very sorry you went through that and lost your pet. I don’t know what I would do without my fur baby. I pray that you find peace, happiness and a new home in 2024. Tami

    To homecrux,
I absolutely love this house. Is it possible to see a picture of the otherside of the bedroom?
Also, do you sell your house plans? Thank you
    Tami
