The Edsel tiny house is a 20-foot-long and 8.5-foot-wide micro-dwelling by the Virginia-based Tiny House Building Company. While many builders are shifting toward bigger configurations to fit more amenities, they are deviating from the basics of the tiny house industry. The Edsel adheres to the principles of downsized living by providing a luxury-packed interior within 20 feet. It further goes on to prove how easy it is to fit in a freestanding bathtub in such a configuration.
While the road legality of a tiny house on wheels is decided by local laws rather than a national standard, the maximum configuration is 40 feet long, 8.6 feet wide, and 13.6 feet high. Given its double-axle base and petite structure, the Edsel is road-legal in Virginia, although you might need to check your state codes outside of the southeastern state.
The aesthetic of the Edsel tiny house is simple and clean. It has a dusty blue board and batten siding exterior dotted with multiple white trim-framed windows. The white interior is divided into separate areas, including a living room, a U-shaped kitchen, two lofts, and a complete bathroom.
The front glass door opens into the kitchen, bringing in more natural light. It has quartz countertops, a four-burner cooktop and oven, a sink, an exhaust fan, white cabinets, a refrigerator, and open shelves. The area is well enough to whip up lavish meals for the family and use the countertops as dining space while at it. A loft bedroom with built-in storage is designed above the kitchen and can be reached via a typical ladder. It can fit a queen-size bed to sleep two.

A compact living is adjoining the kitchen. It has a small couch or a sofa bed to accommodate an expected guest or two. There isn’t much room to include your common living room furnishings in here but that is understandable given the space constraint.
A staircase with side storage leads to the primary loft bedroom. It has a king-size mattress with a beautiful headboard, and a skylight, and is flanked by windows to make it one of the coziest and dreamiest bedrooms. The stairs house a washer/dryer unit neatly tucked out of the way.

Underneath the bedroom, however, lies the gem of this tiny house. The Edsel has a bathroom equipped with a freestanding bathtub, a toilet, a vanity sink, and a big closet to house toiletry and other essentials.
Priced $78,000, the Edsel tiny house on wheels is a wonder of space management. The use of space and division is remarkable and makes it the perfect abode for a small family.
