Steps to Make Trash Bag Spider Web and Paper Arachnids
- Begin by taking a trash bag. Lay it flat on the table and trim it on the sides and bottom so you have two sheets. Fold these once into a square and then into a triangle. Continue folding it further in a triangle shape until you have a thin cone.
- Trim off the rough bottom in a semi-circular shape. Now make cuts on the outer edge of the triangle you are left with. Cut almost three fourth of the edge equidistant from the bottom to the tip of the triangle. This is a tricky part, you will have to cut carefully; cutting too thin can mar the craft. Now unfold the bag and you have the spider web. You can repeat the process to make more webs.
- Now it’s time to make some spiders that will invade the webs. Take a square piece of paper and fold it once into a triangle. Draw half a spider on one side using chalk. Cut the drawing and unfold it to reveal the full spider.
- Repeat the process to make more spiders you can either hang over the webs or glue them onto the spider webs you have stuck on the walls and ceiling for a spooky effect.
