Interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen has teamed up with joint supplement brand YuMOVE to create the first wellness-inspired doghouse for canine companions. With a motive to improve dog health and physique, the home is specifically designed to ease the physical load and wear and tear that your dog faces on a day-to-day basis.
The need for a wellness-inspired doghouse arose after a study conducted by the YuMove research commission. Based on the research it was concluded that nearly 72-percent of dog owners would give their homes a makeover to create a better environment for their dogs. However, only 20-percent of these owners are aware of the beneficial home improvements that can be made for their dogs.
Laurence saw this opportunity and in collaboration with an expert veterinary team of YuMove planned the aesthetics of the house, which were majorly inspired by the Italian designer Emilio Pucci. The doghouse features hand-drawn wallpaper alongside bedding to comfort your pooch.

Additionally, the doghouse features raised food bowls to ease the strain on the dog’s joints while consuming meals. The bowls are decorated in emerald green to match the eye color of the dog. Moreover, the doghouse also has gently inclined steps that are comfortable on their limbs and make it easier for your dog to reach the mezzanine.
The staircase is nonslippery and is designed in such a way that it won’t put much pressure on dogs joints and they can happily gush anywhere. The flooring contains nonslip paint as well, which is a cherry on the cake and makes it a perfect paradise for these lovable creatures.
