Kentucky-based camper trailer manufacturer, Cedar Ridge Campers, received criticism for its Vega 2.0 model. Although everything about Vega 2.0 was top-notch; people were unhappy with the mammoth price of the camping trailer given it only accommodated a couple and didn’t have any extraordinary elements, compared with the modern trailers.
Presumably, the company’s think-tank has considered this before adding the latest addition to its portfolio. The Deneb teardrop trailer that costs $15K and cuts down to the bare essentials. “If you’re looking for a compact camper with everything you need, and nothing you don’t, this is the perfect trailer for you,” mentions the company.
Akin to its predecessor, the Deneb boasts an ultra-rugged exterior built to withstand extreme conditions. Abstaining traditional wood-based materials, the trailer flaunts a fiberglass composite body that ensures durability without compromise. This reduces weight and enhances longevity, making it a reliable companion for years of rugged exploration. Not to mention, custom Artic Tern doors, equipped with built-in window shades and screens, allow you to transition between privacy and panoramic views of the outdoors effortlessly.
The 12-foot camping trailer comes built on a robust welded steel frame and features a Timbren axle-less suspension system, offering smooth rides over varied terrain. To further enhance off-road capability, the trailer is accoutered with stand-on steel fenders and 15-inch aluminum wheels with all-terrain tires.
On the inside, the trailer boasts a generous queen-size sleeping area equipped with a plush 4-inch memory foam mattress and carpeted walls. For those who prefer an extended layout, a seamless space is available when opting out of the kitchen. A wall divider separates the sleeping area from the kitchen, which is modular and can be tailored to the specific needs of the user.

Akin to old-school teardrop trailers, the Deneb kitchen boasts upper cabinets and lower cabinets with a divider in between. The divider offers plenty of worktop space and can be utilized as a cutting and chopping area, while the two cabinets can host daily essentials. Cedar Ridge Campers has kept the upper rack empty and placed the portable power station and other heavy equipment in the bottom cabinet.
As an optional feature, the Deneb boasts three customizable under-counter banks that can be customized with drawers, sink/stove slide, or fridge slide. The pull-out utensil drawer can host a range of cutlery. Next to it is the slide-out stove and a sink with a Domatic faucet to help you make the most out of the impressive backcountry encampment.
Since it is a modular trailer, the company offers different variants on how you can configure the kitchen. Interestingly, Cedar Ridge Campers even provides you with a choice to put your own cabinets or choose from those available in the company’s catalog. The Deneb teardrop trailer is an impressive rig boasting durable construction, offering a comfy interior and versatile design. However, it is notable that it does not come with an integrated standard water or power system.
