Coffee tables are the center stage of conversations in living spaces. They are a must-have furniture for homes, offices, restaurants, hotels, and other commercial spaces. You will find a plethora of furniture designs in this category, each catering to a different need in unique way and design. A case in point is the Creu coffee table designed by Spanish product designer Luis Gimeno. In an intriguing use of geometric shapes, the conceptual coffee table employs bent steel sheets to make the legs of the furniture.

Sharing his latest furniture concept on Instagram, Gimeno wrote, “After exploring various options, I chose uniquely bent legs to add a distinctive touch united by a bottom shelf to store some books and magazines.”

It has been conceptualized in black painted steel sheets. The low-lying table achieves perfect symmetry with the help of an interesting design that blends simplicity and functionality. The Creu stands on bent metal sheet legs to add a geometric flair. The tabletop is made in same material and has curved edges.

The designer has not shared the dimensions of the table but as evident from the picture, it can be a sturdy and attractive addition to your living space, while finding room for decorative centerpieces or even a small lamp. The suspended rack below provides storage space for items that you might want to keep handy in your living room. You can keep books and magazines in this section to give Creu coffee table a welcoming appeal.

The Creu coffee table suffices as robust furnishing as it uses steel as the building material which is known for its structural integrity and durability. What do you think about this conceptual coffee table design? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
