US-based YouTuber Charlotte Sometimes has taken online media on swirling roller coaster ride by posting a video of her color changing cake. Simple and normal looking cake changes colors once it starts spinning, thus creating an inconceivable optical illusion that can puzzle anyone.
Posted on her YouTube channel one month back, the 31-second-long video seems like a preview of a magical show, where the cake spins and starts changing colors. The cake featuring a perfect color spectrum changes hues from orange to blue, pink to purple and yellow to green, creating a captivating moment for viewers.
Posted with both positive and negative reviews, for some the cake is sham, while some have started sharing their own baking knowledge and experiences by giving detailed baking procedure. However to stop people from calling it fake, Charlotte has also posted the tutorial on how to create color changing cake. As per the tutorial, the optical illusion is achieved through airbrushing different colors on opposing sides of the grooved frosting.
Unquestionably, it would take hell lot of time and practice to create such a magical illusion, and we just hope it tastes as good as it looks. Wishing the new baker lots of luck, we do hope she keeps us glued to our computer screens by creating more and more interesting and yummy looking cakes.
