MitchCraft Tiny Homes is one of the few tiny house manufacturers that never fail to amaze me. Unlike Baluchon or Madeguincho, the tiny house manufacturer from Colorado like playing with the layout. One day, it adds a balcony to their base unit, other days it downsizes the dwelling to be literally compact. This time around the tiny house manufacturer has included a cat loft in one of its models and I am astonished.
The manufacturer introduced a tiny house model that’s extra-wide in comparison to its past models. Dubbed Clay’s 34′ x 10′ Tiny Home, the tiny dwelling has a total floor space of 340 square feet. Based on a triple-axle gooseneck trailer, it features a living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and a separate cat loft. The tiny house is finished in board and batten siding and includes two doors that provide access to the kitchen and living room, separately.
The tiny house is 10 feet wide which is astounding compared to other tiny homes. This extra width allows you to add on some luxurious small living comforts, including a bathtub. Not to mention, a separate loft area for the owner’s cat. Upon entering the tiny house, you are graced with a large entertainment unit which includes a TV, and a blue sofa. You’d find plenty of drawers and other storage units squeezed in there.
The other door leads to the kitchen situated near the living room. From cabinetry and a large sink to appliances like a microwave, a four-burner propane-powered stove, oven, fridge/freezer – and the dishwasher, the kitchen is filled with every small essential necessary for a living. Next to the kitchen is a bathroom that features a composting toilet, washing machine, and dryer. However, the major highlight of the bathroom is the bathtub alongside the shower, which is a very rare feature in a tiny house.

The gooseneck part of the trailer is used as a bedroom and can be accessed via storage-integrated steps. Unlike other tiny houses, the bedroom doesn’t have a low ceiling and there is much headspace in the loft. Featuring a double bed and cabinetry for storing your nitty-gritty accessories, the bedroom also paves the way to a small cat door that provides access to another loft area solely for the cat to enjoy some peace and quiet.
Clay’s 34′ x 10′ Tiny Home is a cozy dwelling on wheels with white walls and a dark ceiling that adds a distinct aesthetic to the space. The cat loft and the tub are the highlights, but the credit goes to the extra width that the company has used in its tiny house construction.
