Amid a slew of tiny house manufacturers around the globe, very few create mobile habitats of uncompromising quality. Based in Colorado, MitchCraft Tiny Homes is one such manufacturer that never lets its client down and pays utmost attention in every phase of construction, from the foundational structure to the finishing details. Chelsea’s 28′ x 10′ tiny home designed by the company is what I plan to bring to your notice today.
The tiny house is finished in Shou Sugi Ban cedar and is built on a triple-axle trailer. Unlike most tiny houses that welcome you to the living room, Chelsea’s 28′ x 10′ Tiny Home greets you straight to the laundry room which features a washer/dryer combo and some shelving. Adjacent is the bathroom which includes a bathtub, vanity, toilet, and shower. The bathroom is also equipped with floating shelves and a round mirror that add elegance to the space.
As you move towards the kitchen, you’d spot a drop-down table that can either be used as a work desk or a dining table. To my surprise, there is no sofa or couch in the living room, but MitchCraft adds a long storage-integrated bench on the side of the house.

Adjacent is the kitchen – clad in exquisite cerulean throughout – which looks fully functional and boasts a wooden countertop with cabinets underneath. The kitchen of Chelsea’s 28′ x 10′ also features a range of appliances, from an oven and sink to a fridge and a four-burner cooktop that is elegantly placed underneath the staircase leading to the loft of the tiny house.
Talking of loft, Chelsea’s 28′ x 10′ tiny home features two. One can be accessed via a storage-integrated staircase near the kitchen, while the other can be reached via a removable ladder. Sleeping a minimum of four people, the two lofts are quite functional. Not to mention, one loft features a skylight too.
