Smart locks have become popular for offering better and reliable home security solution. Living up to the concept of smart locks, Schlage’s has announced the launch of new generation smart deadbolt with voice-controlled features at the main event of CES 2015. This hi-tech smart locking system clips onto your front door and unlocks just by listening your voice.
It runs on four AA batteries and provides you easy access to your home, either with a key, a four-digit PIN or your smartphone. The device comes with Android and iOS supporting mobile app that integrates with Siri or Apple’s Homekit to open the door with your voice, if your hands are occupied.
Besides the voice-controlled locking system, there are plenty of other customization and control options. The customization options allow you to enter up to 30 entry codes so that your friends as well as other family members can also access the lock without any trouble. The smart lock is still under development stage and expected to hit the market in mid 2015 with the price range likely to be around $199-$300.
