There is a lot of buzz about tiny houses being a solution to the housing crisis and rightfully so. With recession looming around and mercury beginning to soar, people are looking for a feasible alternative that helps them sustain through tough times, and what better than a tiny house? With so many options around, it is important to know the right kind of manufacturers that can build a quality home for you and Tiny Mountain Houses stands apart in this regard.
The California-based tiny house builder has an exquisite model (available in 24 feet and 28 feet configurations) that you’d definitely want. Dubbed Castle Peak, it is a 26 feet tiny dwelling featuring a spacious living area, kitchen, bathroom, and two lofts.
You enter the house via a fiberglass door into the residential kitchen with tall overhead cabinets. The kitchen area also features ample room for appliances ranging from two burners, an electric glass cooktop, an apron sink, and a refrigerator to a washer/dryer combo. Adjacent to the kitchen is the bathroom which includes a toilet, sink, and shower. There is plenty of glazing options available in the entire house allowing natural light to pass in.

On the opposite end of the bathroom is the living room of the Castle Peak tiny house. It includes an additional entrance door and features an L-shaped couch and a center table for guests to sit and relax. Known for their versatility and ample storage space, Tiny Mountain Houses has packed two lofts inside its LP Smart Panel with the rough-sawn trim finished body. One loft that lies above the bathroom and is known as the den/media area also functions as a second living room and can be transformed into a bedroom if required.
The other loft lies above the ground floor living room and functions as a traditional loft bedroom. The two lofts can be accessed via custom ladders, though there are customized options available to include a storage staircase. Overall, the tiny house can sleep two to eight people at max. The base price for the Castle Peak is $92,900 but you can always bargain, I reckon.
