We have seen tiny houses that feature a motorized deck and have also come across micro dwellings that include a porch area as well. Also, there is no dearth of mobile habitats with spiral staircases and rooftop decks. But, could all these features be incorporated into one dwelling? Well, Tru Form Tiny just made it possible. The Oregon-based tiny house firm has designed a brand new micro dwelling dubbed Cascade Mini tiny house.
As evident from the name, the Cascade Mini is an iteration of Cascade Max, a 38 feet tiny home designed by Tru Form Tiny, years back. Having ‘Mini’, as the suffix one would assume Cascade Mini is a trimmed-down version of the previous model, but that’s not the case. Cascade Mini boasts the same configuration as its predecessor and rather goes big on features.
Measuring 38 feet long, the tiny house features a spiral staircase in its rear that leads to the rooftop deck of the house. The deck is accoutered with seating areas and a fireplace, perfect for small get-together parties. Contrary to the rear, the front of the tiny house doesn’t have a staircase but does feature a motorized deck that conceals a fancy porch.
Speaking of deck first, it is equipped with a fire pit that comes surrounded by a range of furniture. The deck paves the way to the enclosed porch area. The porch features a center table with a couple of chairs and connects to the main living room of the house. All of this comes packed inside a combo of blue lap siding and wood accent siding exterior.

Featuring a sofa, a small coffee table, windows, and yet another fireplace, the living room looks cozy and bright. Adjacent is the kitchen which is outfitted with a generous countertop, cabinets, electric appliances, and loads of storage. A drawer dishwasher, fridge, and a movable wooden island are some of the key takeaways from the home. With all these features in 350-square-foot space, no wonder, the Cascade Mini tiny house cost a whopping amount of $250K.

Next, we have the bathroom of the tiny house. Featuring a bathtub and a separate shower, toilet, and sink the bathroom is highly functional and elegant. A double bedroom is situated next to the bathroom and comes furnished with shelves for storing essentials. Despite not being a loft-styled bedroom, the Cascade Mini bedroom boasts a low ceiling in order to accommodate a loft-based laundry room above the bedroom.
The tiny house draws power from a standard RV-style hookup but also comes attached with solar panels and batteries, in case you want to go a little off-grid. Overall, it is a cozy and comfy tiny house on wheels that offers plenty of warmth provided you are willing to spend a nice hunk of change on it. 250k for a tiny house lol. I can buy a full size on land for that where I live. This is mental.
The concept of a tiny house was to be cheap. For people with low incomes. If the industry gets to fancy the whole concept will be destroyed by greed yet again.
