Well-designed treehouses let you enjoy the natural surroundings in the best way possible. Portuguese architectural firm DB Arquitetos has created a magnificent modern treehouse called the Casa VJC Iporanga. A summer retreat located in Guarujá, Brazil, it offers a pleasant getaway in the lush green region and is artfully designed by lead architects David Bastos, Felipe Bastos, and Rita Monteiro. The interior has been designed by Marina Salles.
The Casa VJC Iporanga provides an opportunity to connect with nature. The main challenge in front of architects was to create it to blend with the terrain and surrounding greenery. The house has five modular floors that match the contours of the place where it is built. Interestingly, it has bedrooms on the lower levels ensuring privacy for the residents. The upper floors offer the social areas and provide a chance to experience coastal and treetop views.
The intelligent interior design by Marina Salles helped in extending the landscape inside Casa VJC Iporanga. The interior is filled with materials like wood, straw, and linen to create a feeling of connection with the vegetation outside. The treehouse features large windows allowing residents to come closer to the surrounding forest.

The top floor of the Casa VJC Iporanga is highlighted by the living area, kitchen, and dining room forming the indoor while the outdoor features a solarium, swimming pool, and balcony. The living room is designed to encourage interaction among guests while the furniture makes it the central focus.
The treehouse flaunts a personality of its own with the help of Brazilian art pieces, custom-designed objects, and family heirlooms. A sense of sustainability is created by the repurposed furniture that was carefully chosen for this modern treehouse. One of the most amazing features of the Casa VJC Iporanga is the dining table surrounded by handwoven Gana chairs. Furthermore, the lighting also adds a bit of creative touch to the interiors.
