Furniture has seen a major transition over time owing to the urge to explore new designs, materials, techniques, forms, and usage. From adorning our living area, dining room, patio, or bedroom, chairs have become indispensable furniture providing various functions. Treading along the same lines is the Holly Fab chair that combines aesthetics and functionality in a mutual interaction to bring traditional comfort to modern dining spaces.
Designed by Busetti Garuti Redaelli (BGR) design studio for Italian furniture company Calligaris, the Holly Fab chair is a rendition of a typical ’50s armchair. The chair aims to explore traditional and innovative materials to cater to a contemporary lifestyle.
Featuring a deep cushioned seat and solid wood frame, the chair has flat armrests and long wooden legs. It supports your back with its enveloping backrest for a comfortable seating experience. Due to its light weight, the chair is easy to move as desired.

Wide-angled legs bring stability and flair to the design. Minimalistic in style, the chair is made to complement existing furniture in a room with its subtle hues in both home and commercial spaces. To provide elegance to any space, one can choose between fabric, leather, and faux leather finishes while the frame (underfoot) is available in three finishes.
The Holly Fab chair can primarily be used for the dining area or living room inviting people to sit and enjoy a meal or a conversation. The chair is part of Calligaris’s Capsule Collection which also features tabletops and dining tables.
