With the tiny house movement truly global, there is an unsaid pressure on every mobile habitat manufacturer to raise the bar with out-of-the-box thinking. In a quest to do something unconventional, New Zealand-based Build Tiny has incorporated disappearing stairs inside its 23.5-foot-long dwelling dubbed C-Tiny house. Well, not truly disappearing but retractable stairs.
The idea is unique and quirky considering the same stairs lead to the primary loft of the tiny house. When not in use, these stairs can be tucked back in the wall offering the ultimate space-saving solution. However, it’s not just the retractable stairs that make C-Tiny House shine bright. The micro-dwelling boasts red aluminum cladding that instantly catches the eye.
The tiny house is outfitted with double-glazed windows allowing light to penetrate inside. Featuring lightweight poplar core plywood interior linings, the tiny house has a functional kitchen, gorgeous living room, spacious bathroom, and dual lofts.
The living room is equipped with a yellow sofa and pouf that sits in front of a window, facing a wall-mounted television. Adjacent is the retractable stairs that lead to the main loft of the tiny house. Equipped with a double sleeping mattress, the primary loft sleeps two people with ease.

The bathroom of the C-Tiny house lies under the loft and includes a glass shower door, toilet, sink, and plenty of storage for incorporating a washer/dryer. On the opposite side of the bathroom is the kitchen. It includes a countertop, cabinetry, and a range of appliances for whipping up lavish meals.
It also features a ladder that leads to the secondary loft of the tiny home. The secondary loft sleeps two people with ease and can even be used as a reading space.
